I have been collaborating for more than 2 years with Tianguis de la Raza, a monthly POC market supported by the Centro Cultural de la Raza in San Diego.

I am part of the Tianguis de la Raza Organization Committee, and in charge of various roles within the event preproduction and production: Social Media Management, Content creator and Cultural Events planning.

PIXCA

Pixca is an autonomous and local farm located in the Tijuana River Community garden in the borderland of San Diego California.

The concept for this logo was to create a minimalistic design of what pixca is: a farm next to the ocean. 

This black and white design is perfect for stickers, shirts, bags and any type of print.

 

 

 

 

 

UX.UI.

I am so excited that I was contacted to do this job because I am getting to learn new things. This type of design is getting more and more attention these days with the commercialization of smartphones. App development has created a new demand for UX/UI designers, focused on the design and user experience of apps and websites.

For this project, I was instructed to basically create a hypothetical design for a fitness app. This is part of the pre-production process for a new app.

URCOACH, is a prototype for an upcoming app. This image represents the beginning of a fantastic idea.

Cannabis Info Event Flyer

First of all, I was very glad that I could contribute with something to this event, as this was the first public informational event about the history and medicinal properties of cannabis in Tijuana. Currently this plant is in the process of being legalized in Mexico, but there is not much mainstream education about it.

With the use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, this flyer was created with the concept of cannabis in mind, and also trying to fit all the participants of the event in the flyer. I added the iconic Tijuana monuments in the back of the leaf to give it the Tijuana touch, and also because the event started at the first monument “Torre de Agua Caliente” and finish in the other monument, “El Arco” (‘The Arch’).

I love 3D rendering, however, it tends to consume your computer’s processing power to the max, that’s why I could not experiment with it in the past. I believe Adobe after effects burnt my previous MacBook Pro, RIP. As I upgraded a few months ago, and I got a gig for a intro for a Youtube Vlogger, I decided to give 3D rendering another try.

I have always been fascinated with 3D graphics. And there are many GUIs out there that can do the job, but it was BLENDER that caught my attention. Blender is a professional, FREE and open-source 3D graphics software. I wanted to see where FREE could get me, and I really liked the results.

This is going to be a throw back Saturday post where I remember when I did this project about 8 month ago. I am always interested in typography and when they asked me to do a kinetic typography project from a social issue that interested me, well, i rapidly thought about sugar. I used to love processed sugar when I was a gullible kid, but I can now clearly see the results of its abuse.

Let’s eat healthier is a piece of art, but it is also a social statement.

First Post

Hello there, this is my website, here I will be publishing all my projects either of music production or video production. The first thing I will post is my most recent logo animation. I did my logo in Illustrator and then animated it with Adobe After Effects, Audio FXs in Protools and Music in Ableton.

I turned an early version of this logo for my final project in one of my classes last semester. The project was to create a DVD, and I used this animation for my menu page, so it was actually kind of fun to see a dynamic menu page.
